Radio Broadcasting

Radio broadcasting refers to the transmission of audio content (such as music or spoken word) to the general public via radio waves or digital signals. Before starting broadcasting, you must conclude a contract with Intergram that sets the remuneration amount for rightsholders and the method of payment. This agreement ensures you can legally use all relevant content, including the rights of both producers and performing artists. It also guarantees that those artists and producers receive fair compensation for their work. The agreement covers not only songs but also jingles, covers, and similar elements.

We distinguish between the following types of licenses:
  • Terrestrial radio (analogue and digital – DAB) and satellite radio

  • Simulcasting – simultaneous broadcasting via terrestrial transmitter and the internet

  • Internet radio (webcasting)

  • Associated services (archives, bonuses, catch-up content)

Procedure
  • 1

Contact the Licensing and Sales Department, which will arrange the licensing agreement with you.

  • 2

Before usage begins, the contract will define a minimum monthly remuneration, which will be invoiced to you.

  • 3

Monthly, you submit playlists (lists of aired recordings).

  • 4

Annually, you submit a revenue report for the previous year, which is used to calculate the final remuneration amount.
